holyscream | Writing Woes

It must have been a year or so ago that I finally managed to break through the wall that kept me from being able to write fanfic. Until then, the only work I felt capable of was original stories. Now, I of course don’t think original stories are worse that fanfic, but it was frustrating to not be able to use my favorites as dolls in my mind, much less in visual art or writing.

I still haven’t finished a single non-comedic fic.

My aversion to percieved OOCness trips me up every paragraph and I can’t get through revisions, because those require looking at my own writing. Gah!
